The Sports Video Group was formed in 2006 to support the professional community that relies on video, audio, and broadband technologies to produce and distribute sports content. The mission of the Record Plant Diaries (RPD) is to preserve the legacy of the Record Plant Studios as a pivotal creative and technical force in the history of late twentieth century popular music in New York, LA and Sausalito.  RPD’s research team is conducting Internet, library, and public document searches of all known references (print, audio, video, photos)  to Record Plant Studios, its sessions, customers and music industry affiliates.  RPD has been granted full access to the archives and records of co-founder/owner Chris Stone.
